Ella I. Milliman , 68, Stryker, died from injuries sustained in a car accident Wednesday morning in Hillsboro, Texas. Her twin sister, Edith Link,- Markle, Ind , also died in the accident. She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Bryan, the daughter of Frank and Mabel (Stafford) Thompson. In 1942, she married Duane Milliman, who died in 1987. She had been an employee of General Telephone, Bryan, and had worked in the Stryker Local Schools cafeteria. She was a member of Stryker United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Order of the Eastern Star, Lodge 77 of Fayette, and the Past Matrons. Surviving are a son, David Milliman, Grapevine, Texas; three daughters, Mrs, Dennis (Cindy) Holthues of Bryan and Mrs. Kenneth (Sandra) Brown and Mrs. James (Patsy) Mealer, both of Stryker; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Robert, James and Richard; and a sister, Nellie Bauer. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stryker United Methodist Church with Rev. Norman Beckwith officiating. Burial will be in Stryker Cemetery Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grisier Funeral Home, where Order of Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Preferred memorials are to the church.
