"Mrs Mary Elizabeth Heliker, 45, of Spartansburg, RD 2, died Tuesday afternoon at Roswell Park Hospital, Buffalo, after an extended illness. She was born Aug 28, 1928, in Corry, the daughter of William and Eleanor Cornell Watson. She had been employed by the Raymond Manufacturing Company, Corry, for 24 years. She was a member of Sparta Grange 110. Mrs Heliker is survived by her husband, Lee Heliker; three daughters, Mrs George (Linda) Apthorp of Spartansburg, Mrs Elwin (June) Henton of Corry, RD 1, and Mrs Nelson (Janetta) Valentine, Spartansburg, RD 2; five grandchildren; her parents, Mr and Mrs William F Watson Sr of Spartansburg, RD 3; one sister, Mrs Morris (Cleo) Wickwire, Corry, RD 4; [and] one brother, William F Watson Jr, Corry, RD 4. Friends may call at the H Richard Hays Funeral Home at Spartansburg...and attend the funeral service there Friday at 2 pm with Rev Larry Mattox, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Spartansburg, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg."
