William Raymond Lee
Birth: Aug. 15, 1807
Death: Dec. 26, 1891

Civil War Union Brevet Brigadier General. Colonel and commander of the 20th Massachusetts Infantry. He led the regiment at the Battle of Antietam, where it was heavily engaged in the brutal fighting in the West Woods. He was brevetted Brigadier General, USV on March 13, 1865. (bio by: Russ Dodge)
