-- Miss Arona Pernelive Brown, 33, of 3616 Kentucky Ave., Apartment 1, died Dec. 26, 1991, at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bible Way Apostolic Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Alexander Funeral Home. Miss Brown, a Charlotte native, was a UPS housekeeping department employee and attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools.
Survivors are her son, Charles Brown; daughters, Ms. Vernelive Brown, Ms. Donna Brown; brothers, Willie Brown of Washington, Tommy Misenhaimer, Gene Misenhaimer, George Brown Jr.; sisters, Ms. Cynthia Brown, Mrs. Clara Benton, Mrs. Levena Johnson, Mrs. Pauline Phillips; stepmother, Mrs. Ada Misenhaimer; one grandchild.
The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the service.
