Fred Baker, Minister
GASTONIA - The Rev. Fred Lee Baker, 63, of 407 S. Chester St., Apt. 12 died Dec. 30, 1991, at Gaston Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 3 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Dr. Larry Wilkerson will officiate. Burial is in Gaston Memorial Park. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Carothers Funeral Home.
Rev. Baker, a retired Methodist minister in the Western N.C. District, was born in Gaston County, son of the late Henry Baker. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lorene Auten Baker; daughter, Mrs. Beverly Walker of Cornelius; mother, Mrs. RosaLee Baker; brother, Glenn Baker of Cramerton; sisters, Mrs. Betty Terres, Mrs. Louise Teague.
