DANNY John MONROE, age 42, of Rigby, died at his home Friday, August 4, 2006. Danny was born December 21, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the son of John Wade & Judy Monroe and Lona Heck Nipple.

Danny grew up and attended schools in Rigby, and Ririe, and graduated from Ririe High School. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a partner in Valley Auto Salvage in Rigby. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He married Lisa Jones. They were later divorced.

He is survived by three sons, Zach, Nathan, & Mathew Monroe, all of Rigby, his parents, Wade (Judy) Monroe of Rigby, and Lona Monroe. He is survived by one sister Kristy (Phil) Jorde of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two brothers Bart (Connie) Hamilton of Logan, Utah; and Brett Ray (Jill) Hamilton of Rigby, Idaho He was preceded in death by one sister Tammy, one brother Jeffrey and his grandparents.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the and prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. both at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
