Lorraine Amy MacCormac, 93, a resident of the Washington Odd Fellows Home, 534 Boyer Ave., died there May 3, 2001.
At her request, there will be no service. Cremation was at Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, Tacoma, Wash.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Odd Fellows Home through the funeral home.
One of eight children, Mrs. MacCormac was born Oct. 22, 1907, in New Hampton, Iowa, to Herbert and Lottie Denniston Crandall. She attended schools in the Iowa area and graduated in 1927 from Rockwell City (Iowa) High School.
On May 26, 1956, she married James MacCormac in Seattle. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for a Tacoma lumber yard and worked in the billing department with the Fredrick & Nelson department store in Seattle.
Mr. MacCormac died in 1979 and she moved here from Kirkland, Wash., in 1997.
Survivors include a brother, Lyle Crandall of Walla Walla; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray, Roy, Eugene and Harold Crandall; and two sisters, Dorothy Kunkel and Edith England.
