Gearl Dee was the 4th child born Thursday, June 23rd, 1938 to Carl Dee Gossien & Ethel (Ray) Gossien in Grapevine, Grant County, Ark. moving to Oregon then Ca. in the early 1950's.
She was a beautiful small woman that you seldom seen with a hair out of place, or anything in her house out of place. She may of been little but she had a temper and could be very out spoken.
Gearl married Elmer Duane "Bud" Baker when they eloped to Nevada Feb 4th,1956. Gearl & Bud would of celebrated their 35th anniversary in Feb.
Gearl is survived by husband Elmer "Bud" Baker, 1 daughter & her husband Jery Lynn & Ron Rice of Ca, 2 sons Dennis & wife Carmen Baker of Texas, and Rodney & wife Edie Baker of Ca, 5 Grandchildren Dustin & Ryan Rice of Ca., Sarah &, Anthony Baker of Texas, & Steven Baker of Ca., 1 brother Ray Gossien of Ferndale, CA, sisters Edith Rider of Medford, Oregon, Elois Oldner of Grapevine, Ark, & Shirley Ainsworth of Fortuna, Ca.
She was preceded in death by her father Carl Dee Gossien in 1957 & her Mother Ethel Ray Gossien Wiggins in 1987.
Gearl died of lung problems at 52 years, 6 months, & 21 days old Sunday, Jan 13th, 1991.
