Margaret Adam was born in Dorocske (aka Somogydorocske), Somogy, Hungary. After the family came to the United States, the surname Adam was changed to Adams. She was the daughter of John Adams and Margaret Dechert Adams. Margaret never got married.

Funeral services for Miss Margaret Adams, a native of Enhaut who was found in a roadside ditch in Radnor Township, near Bryn Mawr, on Tuesday afternoon will be held on Saturday at 1.30 o'clock at the home of her mother, Mrs. Margaret Stark, 506 Mohn street, Steelton. Further services will take place at 2 o'clock in Trinity German Lutheran Church. The Rev. P. B. Hack, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Oberlin Cemetery. Friends may call at the home tomorrow night.
Radnor police said they are searching for the driver of the hit-run car which they believe struck the 45-year-old woman. Coroner Winslow Rushong, Montgonery County, will hold an inquest.
