His most frequent lyricist collaborator was Arthur Freed. Among the songs he composed the melodies for include "Singin' In The Rain," "You Are My Lucky Star," "Good Morning," "All I Do Is Dream Of You," "You Stepped Out Of A Dream" and "Make 'Em Laugh."
