Robby was buried on his 14th birthday. July 02, 1971.
He was killed one week after graduating 8th grade, by a drunk truck driver.

Robby was born in Queens, New York. He was only a baby a few months old when we moved out to "the country," Shirley, New York, Long Island.

They wanted the best and the city at the time, 1958 through the 60s was so violent. Robby attended elementary school at St. Johns the Evangelist School in Center Moriches, New York, and graduated 8th grade in 1971. The picture to the right, with Robby in the blue gown is his 8th grade graduation picture. He was killed in a car accident, within a week after he graduated.

Robby made a great contribution to the world. He was a great businessman at such a young age, running the family diner. The world has a great loss when we lost Robby.

A child with a kind heart:
One week before he passed he had committed to a donation to a televised charity event. The Jerry Lewis muscular-distrephy charity event. He donated all the cash had. One day, many months after his death, a bill arrived in the mail. It was the bill for the donation Robby had committed to. Mom opened the letter and cried. Mom mailed his money to the charity.

Robby was killed by a drunk truck driver, who didn't see a stop sign, on June 28, 1971. He never had his chance at a full life but succeeded in so much in a short time.
Robby had many achievements in his life.

Robby was a caring, loving, young man. A true asset to the world, he would have accomplished and contributed much.

At 13 years old he was able to run our family business, alone. He handled all business with our family run diner on Montauk highway, Shirley New York. It was known as "Tony's Lunch Inn" Robby was able to run the place when left alone, took orders, made up the dishes, served and rang up the customers.
