The body of W. W. Dixon who died at his home in Bethany May 10, was brought to Blair for burial last Thursday. The deceased was born in Jasper county, Iowa, June 5, 1861 and when he was four years old, he moved to Nebraska with his parents who homesteaded five miles north of Blair. In 1881 he was united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Warrick and to this union five children were born, four of whom survive him. He worked at the barber trade for some time and later went into the paper hanging and painting business. In 1915 the family moved to Lincoln. Early in April this spring he suffered a paralytic stroke from which he never recovered.

Surviving him are his wife; and four daughters, Mrs. Vesta Carmichael of Lincoln, Mrs. Merle Bovee of Rosalie, Mrs. Cleo Conley of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mrs. Ruth Williamson of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma. A son, Wesley, jr., died in 1916.
