Dennis Ray Redel, 48, of Bennington died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, in Bennington.
Redel was born March 3, 1952, in Norfolk. He was a 1970 graduate of Wayne High School and moved to Bennington in 1971. He married Gayle Collins Feb. 12, 1972, in Elkhorn. He worked 30 years at Baker's Supermarkets in Omaha.
Survivors include: his wife, Gayle; his father, John Redel of Wayne; a son, Scott (and wife, Joy) Redel of Bennington; a sister, Leila (Mrs. Darrell) Braesch of Omaha; three brothers, Gary "Fritz" (and wife, Linda) Redel of Bennington, Larry (and wife, Linda) Redel of Columbus and Stanley "Butch" (and wife, Joann) Redel of Omaha; a granddaughter, Sophia Redel of Bennington.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hadan Golden Reichmuth Funeral Home in Bennington with the Rev. John Pierson officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Flower Hill Cemetery in Bennington.
