Mrs. Sarah Edith Schetrompf, 77, of 952 Lanvale Street, died Tuesday morning at Western State Hospital. She was the widow of Orville Guy Schetrompf.

Born in Hancock, she was the daughter of Charles and Ella Clevenger Exline. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hagerstown and the Ninety and Nine Sunday School class.

She is survived by two sons, Delbert Schetrompf of Boonsboro and Paul Schetrompf of Williamsport; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Seal of Luray, Virginia and Mrs Gladys Newlin and Mrs. Louise Harbaugh, both of Hagerstown; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie McCusker of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Mrs Gladys Landers and Mrs. Annie Bowman, both of Hancock; and two brothers, William Exline and Elmer Exline, both of Hancock.

Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Leaf Funeral Home in Williamsport with the Reverend G. Bartow Harris and W. Lee Sterling officiating. Burial will be in the Methodist Church Cemetery in Bucks Valley, Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9.
