Harry E. Allton, Jr., 90, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011. Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m., at Westbury Baptist Church, 10425 Hillcroft St., Houston, TX.
Veteran of World War II, Gideon, and devoted family man, he enjoyed woodworking and listening to music.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Capt. Eric L. Allton and Richard Allton.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Laurene; daughters, Michelle Williams, Patti Johnson, Kathleen Huffman, and Diane Allton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
