WATERVILLE, Ohio - Margaret Helen Denig, 91, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born April 17, 1908, in Toledo, the daughter of Jacob and Mattie (Yunker) Schwarz. On July 1, 1926, she married Fred Denig. He preceded her in death Nov. 19, 1981. Mrs. Denig was a homemaker and a former resident of Idaho and Adrian, Mich. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Survivors include one daughter, Margaret M. Mockensturm of Weston, Ohio; one son, Raymond (Jackie) Denig of Fayette, Idaho; a sister, Leona Fetters of Toledo; 16 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, 13 stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Denig; a son, Donald Denig; a great-grandson, Tony Gale; three sisters and four brothers. The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, at St. Patrick's Church, Grand Rapids, Ohio, with Fr. F. Anthony Gallagher as celebrant. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Wright Funeral Home, Grand Rapids, where a Scripture Service is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Adrian. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
