FALL CREEK — Irene Berlin, 81, formerly of rural Fall Creek, died Wednesday October 15, 2003, at the Fall Creek Valley Nursing Home.
Irene, daughter of Leo and Lola (Hudson) Hagedorn, was born October 31, 1921, in Ludington township. She married Myron Berlin on December 5, 1942, in Fall Creek. The couple farmed in the town of Ludington until retiring in 1970. She entered the nursing home in June 1996.
She is survived by four sons, Clifford (Connie), Ron (Sue) and Richard (Cindy) all of Fall Creek and Don (Pat) of Augusta; two daughters, Donna (Andy) Odegard of Mondovi and Linda Hera of Eau Claire; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Hall of Portland, Ore., Emma Berlin and Beverly Pettis both of Augusta and Millie Dekan of Fall Creek.
Her parents, husband, son Louie, siblings Clara Carpenter, Minnie Dehnke, Louie, Fred, Ira, Ernest, Lawrence and Clarence Hagedorn all preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2003, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, with burial in the Ludington Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
