The Bolivar Breeze, Th. 1/04/1912 p?c2 – OBITUARY
“ELLEN OTTO, DEAD.
Miss Ellen Otto was stricken with paralysis on the afternoon of December 22, passed to her reward the following Sunday, December 24. She had been in her usual good health, and had just finished eating dinner with her friend Miss Tyler who was visiting her, when the shock came. Deceased was aged 87 years, and had been a resident of Ceres for several years. She was well educated and had taught painting and drawing for many years. She was a kindly disposed old lady and was well liked by her neighbors and friends.
The funeral was held at the house last Tuesday, Rev. J. M. Leach officiating. The interment was made in Ceres cemetery. Among the relatives who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Otto of Farmers Valley, Mrs. Cory of Coryville, and Mr. and Mrs. Boothe of Cuba.”

[NOTE: I don't know why this site has Ceres Community Cemetery in NY when it is located in Ceres, McKean co PA accordingn to several sources. Ceres stradles the NY/PA border but the cemetery is in PA.
