Birth: Mar. 2, 1917
Death: Jan. 15, 1972

Fought in The Battle of the Bulge....his Unit was one of the heaviest hit. The "393" Story told to his Grandson (one of many) that it was a miserable experience..not just the extreme fighting against the Germans but the extreme cold. Example, so cold boots would freeze to his feet.

This bio is not complete, have other things I want to add, waiting on facts from his Grandson, my Cousin.

Uncle Russell was just the greatest. He was kind, honest, and so handsome! I saw a photo of him and my Aunt Alleyne shortly after they married, he is in Uniform and just so dashing! I loved him very much.
