Death: Oct. 20, 1901

Pulaski Judge was the son of Colonel Farr Harris Trammell and Sally Haygood, who were both children of patriots.

Judge was born in Georgia and moved to Chambers co, Alabama about 1832 with his family. There he met and married Frances Elizabeth Cox, daughter of Asa Cox and Margaret McDonald (also both children of patriots).

Judge and Frances had several children and he ran a store in Fredonia. In 1840 they moved to Louisiana, but Frances was sick and they went back to Alabama where she later died in 1853. Judge bought land in Texas and prepared to move the family there.

On to Texas Judge was a farmer. Judge raised the children on his own, and did so imparting all with a love for knowledge. He lived long and was well loved by his children and grandchildren.

This humble tablet marks a father's bier, and those he loved in life, in death are dear.
Note: P.J.'s inscription faces south and Fannie's faces north, of the same headstone. The verse is on the side facing east.
