Elizabeth Aylett Lambe (1570-1639), married Thomas Lambe (1570-1609). She probably came from Stowlangtoft in NW Suffork, England. Updike Armour

Her partentage is confusing so I won't list it at this time.

Many sites have her parents as William and Margaret Aylett, however in William Aylett's will dated "July 27, 1581" that daughter, Elizabeth, was listed in the will, as deceased. The will listed their children as: John (one record said John or Samuel), Thomas and Edward. This daughter, Elizabeth, of William and Margaret Aylett, was married to John Lambe. The name and dates do not match. Find A Grave contributor, Jodi Rae(Trogstad) Brennan sent this, Suggested edit: The document I discovered see url states Elizabeth Aylett ux Lambe, born 1552, was married to Sir John Lambe, Knt.

(The son of WILLIAM & AGNES AYLETT, he was a yeoman and his will was written July 27, 1581. He requested to be buried in the churchyard of Rivenhall or Kelvedon. He made bequests to the poor in different parishes.
To his wife, MARGARET: land called More Land in Kelvedon, £100, cattle, half of the moveables, and a tenament called Graces.
To eldest son, Richard: my lease in Cressing.
To son, Leonard: Elmesfield and Sewerland, a lease in Black Notley.
To son, Robert: my lease in Coggeshall.
To son, William: my lease of a tenement in Mayland called Bovells and tenements in Mayland Southminster and Steeple.
To son Thomas: lease of a meadow in Rivenhall, a tenement in Rivenhall called Black Mere and a meadow called Bayes.
To son, John: the other half of moveables and the lands bequeathed to my wife after her death and £100 at age 21.
To daughter, Susan, wife of Edward Samroes: £20
and each of her children to have £6.13.4.)

This is the confusion:

The Elizabeth in the will was deceased, in 1581, the one in this FAG record died in 1639. Children are similar but not the same? Husband was John not Thomas.
(To John, Thomas, Edward & Susan Lambe, the children of my daughter ELIZABETH, deceased, late the wife of John Lambe: £6.13.4 each.)
To Judith, daughter of my brother Thomas Aylett: £6.13.4.
Supervisors: my brothers George Raymond [his brother-in-law of Braintree, a grocer] and Thomas Aylett [his natural brother of Leaden Roding].
He also mentions a brother, Robert Aylett.

I did see an Elizabeth Aylett, who was born in 1552? Maybe an aunt or mother?

Also their son Thomas Jr. was born in 1596, making this impossible. My Lambe/Lamb (eventually dropped the e) line descends from here and Thomas (1570-1599) as follows:

Thomas Lamb (1596-1646) First wife was Elzabeth and his second wife was Dorothy Harbottle (m. 7/16/1640) (1619-1698), and their son,

Abiel Lamb (1646-1710) and Elizabeth Clark Lamb (1648-1692) and his son,

Samuel Lamb (1685-1728) and Esther Joslin Lamb (1681-1729) and their son,

Brazillai Lamb (1712-1752) and Sarah Knowlton Lamb (1710-1752), and their son,

Joseph Lamb (1747-1823) and Relief Cobleigh Lamb (1760-1817)and their son,

Oliver Lamb (1783-1865) and Sarah Stephen Green Lamb (1789-1844) and their son,

Thomas Goold Lamb (1811-1896) and Jane Blossom Lamb (b. 1811 and their daughter,

Elmira/Almira Lamb Hill (1845-1922)and Orrin Hill (1825-1906).

William Hill married Loretta Tobin.

Son Thomas William was my father.
