Services for Curtis Franklin Sellers, 65-year-old Rt. 1, Magee resident, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday from the Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Magee with interment in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Rev. W. E. Green and Rev. John Jones officiated. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge.
A retired farmer, Mr. Sellers died on Friday at the Simpson General Hospital, Mendenhall, following a short illness.
He was born in Smith County on Oct. 8, 1908 and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Birma Sellers of Rt. 1, Magee; 1 son, Joseph C. Sellers of Nashville, Tenn.; 2 daughters, Mrs. James C. Bowman and Mrs. Danny Herrington, both of Rt. 1, Magee; 1 brother, Shelby Sellers of Rt. 1, Magee; 1 grandchild, Hal Bowman of Rt. 1, Magee; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
