George Kilwein, 86 year old resident of Post Falls, died Sunday morning at his home, following failing health for the past five years.

Born in Russia, he came to the United States 50 years ago, and to Idaho in 1920 from Dickinson, North Dakota.

Kilwein was a farmer and was afiliated with St. George Catholic Church in Post Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, Coeur d' Alene; a son, Mike, of Post Falls; four stepsons, Ed, Steve, Mike and Harry Renner; seven daughters; Mrs. Frank Bushool, Post Falls, Mrs. Barbara Hatzenbeller, Yakima, Wash., Mrs. Regina Moniam, Harrah, Wash., Mrs. Katherine Schinzel, Spokane, Mrs. Mike Kohl, Port Orchard, Wn., Mrs. Willard Anderson, Fernwood, Idaho, and Miss Ann Kilwein, Coeur d' Alene; three brothers, Anton, Dickinson, ND., Pete and Fred, both of Billings, Mont.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. George Catholic church in Post Falls with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, Coeur d' Alene.

Rosary services are planned for 8 p.m. tomorrow evening in Mooney-English chapel.
