Survivors: wife of 58 years, Blanche Alberta Davis Houser; daughters and sons-in-law, Elsie & Ed Hughes (FL), Wanda & Jim French (Seymour) 16 gr'children; 29 grtgr'children; one grt-grt-gr'child; sisters, Berthie Cummings, Imogene Davis & Mamie Evans (Knoxville), Trula Murphy (Taylorville, IL); sister-in-law, Georgia Houser (Knoxville). Jack Houser lived most of his life in South Knoxville just off Tipton Station Road in Knox County, TN. In his younger years he worked at a nearby saw mill and earned $1 a day. As an adult, he was a well driller by trade. In 1979, he and Blanche moved to FL to live with their daughter until their deaths.
