Elias Jacob Boteler was the second son, third child, of Edward Lingan Boteler IV and Elizabeth Anne DeLashmutt Boteler. He married Susannah Evitt on 26Jan1793, possibly in Frederick, Maryland.
Elias died days after hsi infant daughter, Eva Marie Boteler and they were buried together. The original burial was at the "All Saints Church Yard". Their remains moved late 1850's and re-interred at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The original tone was buried with with them.
Records state there was a "new" stone placed, however, researchers tell us there is no stone and the exact location of Elias and Eva Marie's grave is unknown.
We have seperated the memorials for Elias Boteler and his infant daughter, Ann Maria, so fellow researchers can seperate the details of their lives.
To date we do not have the details on their deaths; 26Feb2013; and we do not know where Susannah Evitt Boteler is buried, or if she remarried.
We will continue to research our connection to the Boteler family, any researchers of this family are welcomed to contact us directly.
