Georgia Governor. Prosecutor in the Leo Frank case. Before becoming Governor in 1917, he made a name for himself as the prosecutor in the infamous trial of Leo Frank. History has not looked kindly on him due to his involvement in the case. Although evidence pointed away from Frank, many believe that he presented false and questionable evidence to convict Frank in an attempt to further his own political career.
