Esther Ellen (Brown) Collyar at the age of 92, of Cushing OK passed away on Friday the 28th day of October 2011, at the Linwood Village Nursing Center in Cushing, OK.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral home and will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1st, at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, OK. Burial will follow at Parkland Cemetery.
She was born May 22nd, 1919 in Sandia, TX, to Henry and Ethel (Jackson) Brown. Her parents moved to Parkland, OK when she was three years old. She attended grade school at Parkland OK. Later they moved to Shamrock, OK where Esther graduated from Shamrock High School.
She was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, OK.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Ethel Brown, her Husband Clarence Collyar and infant son Wayne Eugene; three sisters, Helen Brown, Hattie Hausner, and Rosemary Buckles; and two brothers, Charlie Brown and Leon Brown.
