Thomas Alexander, 76 years old, died at his home, Susquehanna and Novelty streets. Homewood, yesterday, of general debility. He was born in Mercer, Pa., October 22. 1828, and followed farming for a number of years. In 1880 Mr. Alexander removed to Allegheny. He was one of the charter members of the Homewood Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the civil war and a member of McPherson post. No. 117. Grand Army of the Republic. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Isabella S. Alexander: a daughter. Mrs. W. S. Zahniser. of Waynesburg. Greene county. Pa., and a son, W. G. Alexander, of Emsworth.
