Sprague Horace "Peg" Cleghorn
Birth: Mar. 11, 1890
Death: Jul. 13, 1956

Professional Hockey Player. Cleghorn played for teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), and the Canadian Amateur Hockey League (CAHL). He played the position of defence for the Ottawa Senators from 1918 to 1921, Toronto St. Pats from 1920 to 1921, Montreal Canadiens from 1921 to 1923, Boston Bruins from 1925 to 1928, and Newark Bulldogs from 1928 to 1929. Also a coach he coached the Providence Reds from 1930 to 1931 in the Canadian Amateur Hockey League (CAHL), and the Montreal Maroons from 1931 to 1932 in the National Hockey League (NHL). He won the Stanley Cup in 1920, 1921, and 1924. Cleghorn was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1958. (bio by: K)
