Mrs. H. D. Carver, widow of B. F. Gray, was one of the many victims
of the Spanish influenza epidemic in November, 1918.
She was principal of the Emerson and Kirk school kindergartens, a resident for twenty years, one of the guiding spirits of the kindergarten schools, active in club work and in the Baptist Church.
She was a member of the City Beautiful Commission
