He was a right handed pitcher making his debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 21, 1903. For twelve seasons, he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1903), Washington Nationals (1905-07), Cleveland Naps (1907-13), Indianapolis Hoosiers (1914), Newark Peppers (1915), Brooklyn Tip-Tops (1916) and Philadelphia Athletics (1917). He ended his career with a record of 130 wins, 123 loss, 180 complete games, 27 shutouts, 8 saves, 1164 strikeouts and a 2.68 earned run average. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
