Ernestine Teffeteller Tallent, age 70, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at UT Medical Center surrounded by family. She was a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church for over 40 years and was a very faithful participant in church activities. She was head of the bereavement group that coordinated meals for those who had recently lost loved ones. She always supported her grandchildren no matter what activity they might be involved in. She loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lowell Teffeteller and Jim Tallent; parents, Ernest Ralph and Margarette Murr Arwood; brother, Charles Edward Arwood; and great-grandson, Everett James Woodlief. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ernie and Pam Teffeteller, Paul Lowell Teffeteller, Jr., and Craig and Cathy Teffeteller; grandchildren, Deonna Woodlief, Misty Coulter, Paul Lowell "Little Paul" Teffeteller, III, Tristan Teffeteller, and Cassie Teffeteller; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Bill Cardin and Shirley and Bill Odom; special nieces, Sharon Ezell and Linda Henderson; very special friend, Clara Bell; and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Friday, October 28, 2011, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tony Brown officiating. Family and friends will gather 2:00 PM Saturday at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the interment.
