William Jonathan Northen

Death:	Mar. 25, 1913 Atlanta Fulton County Georgia, USA
Georgia Governor. He served as both a Georgia state senator and a Georgia state representative before his election as a two term Georgia Governor in 1890. While Governor, he established an agricultural and mechanical college for black students and a school for training teachers. After leaving office, he worked for a time as the state historian.
