John L. Kendall was born in LaGrange County, Indiana, October 20, 1862, and departed this life September 6, 1943, aged 80 years, 11 months, 14 days. He was united in marriage with Miss Laura Ann Jones, July 22, 1887, and to this union were born ten children, four of whom preceded their father in death. He was employed at Wagner's Manufacturing Company for twenty three years, and had only been retired five months before his death. Surviving with his widow are the following children, Mrs. Louis Newman (Clara), Charles and James, of Quincy; Clifford of Springfield; and Louis and John of Sidney. Father has gone to that great beyond where there's no grief, pain or care. He has gone forever to live in heaven with God and the angels there. Sadly missed by his wife and children.
