Actor. Bettger is best remembered for his roles in the television shows, "The Court Of Last Resort" as 'Sam Larsen' from 1957 to 1958, and "The Grand Jury" in 1959 as 'Henry Driscoll.' He also appeared in over 31 films from 1950 to 1980 including, "No Man Of Her Own" (1950), "Hurricane Smith" (1952), "Destry" (1954), "Gunfight At The OK Corral" (1957), "Gundown At Sandoval" (1966), "Johnny Reno" (1966), "The Fastest Guitar Alive" (1967), "Impasse" (1970), and "M Station: Hawaii" (1980). He also appeared in several television appearances including, "Hawaii Five-O," "Barnaby Jones," "Police Story," "The Virginian," "Bonanza," "Laramie," and "The Rifleman." He was the son of St. Louis Cardinals third baseman, Franklin Bettger.

Lyle Stathem Bettger was handsome, had a great voice and was a wonderful actor! He was married to actress Mary Rolfe, who died in Hawaii in the 1996, where they resided at that time.
