Funeral services for Joe Adcox, 79, of Rayville, LA were held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 14, 2011 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Nathan Adcox officiating. Interment followed in Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Joe was born November 1, 1931 in Mangham, LA and passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Adcox enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict at a Panama Canal Gun Station. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chalmer and Hattie Grantham Adcox and daughter, Dawn Adcox.

Survivors include his children, Nathan Adcox and wife, Kim, Rhonda Adcox, Darryl Adcox and wife, Michelle, and Brian Adcox and wife, Rena; grandchildren, Shane, Stormi, Tori, Austin, Caleb, Wyatt, Savannah, and Elizabeth; mother of his children, Minnie Adcox; and brothers, Pete Adcox and wife, Maxine and Cecil Adcox and wife, Rae.

Pallbearers were Brian Adcox, Austin Adcox, Shane Adcox, Randy Swain, Ricky Goodman, and Sherman Ashley.

Honorary Pallbearer were Caleb Adcox.
