AMOS A.B. MORLAN
Funeral services were held April 16 at 2:00 p.m. for Amos A.B. Morlan who died in McMinnville on April 13 at the age of 81 years, 11 months and 25 days. Burial was in the Evergreen Memorial Park and Macy and Son funeral directors were in charge of arrangements.
Amos Morlan was born April 18, 1866 in Appanoose county, Iowa and on October 21, 1891 he was married to Cora A. Cross of Plano, Iowa. In 1902 the family moved to Monmouth where they resided until 1941. He has been living at Rt. 1 in McMinnville since 1941. He was a member of the First Baptist church.
Survivors include the widow; one sons, Howard W. of Monmouth; two daughters, Mrs. Marie White, McMinnville, Mrs. Pauline Halladay Coeur d' Alene, Ida.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
