Birth: Nov. 5, 1881
Death: Sep. 26, 1951

Peacetime Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Machinist's Mate First Class in the United States Navy. His citation reads "Serving on board the USS Bennington, for extraordinary heroism displayed at the time of the eplosion of a boiler of that vessel at San Diego, Cal. 21 July 1905." (bio by: Don Morfe)
