LOIS ANN REYNOLDS

At the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Lackie, Friday morning, June 17th, occurred the death of her mother, Mrs. Lois Ann Reynolds, after an illness of six months.

Lois Ann Carpenter was born in Macomb county, October 17, 1837.

In the year 1863 she was united in marriage to Henry Reynolds. They later moved to Farwell and after several years residence there, moved to Grant township and located on a farm where she lived until the death of her husband in 1904, after which she made her home at times with the children.

She was the mother of seven children all of whom survive as follows: Lorenzo, of Pomona, Calf.; Mrs. Lorena Campbell, of Detroit; Mrs. Ida English, Cleveland; Mrs. B. M. Hall, of Ithaca; Manly, of Ashland, Wis.; and Henry and Mrs. J. H. Lackie, of Clare. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a life long member of the Methodist faith and a loving and devoted wife and mother.

The funeral was held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Lackie, Sunday afternoon, Rev. B. W. Davis officiating and interment made in Cherry Grove Cemetery. Clare Sentinel dated 24 June 1921 (Thanks, Tom, for this obituary!)
