John Schehl, 80, Dies At Berne
John Schehl, 80, died at his home in Berne Saturday following a long illness. He was a retired farmer and had spent all his life in Noble county. He was the son of Philip and Barbara Schehl.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eva Schehl; four daughters, Mrs. Esther Crum of Canton, Mrs. Eunice Miller of Caldwell, Mrs. Beulah Arnold of Cleveland and Mrs. Clara Mallett of Caldwell RFD; five sons, Otmer and Harold of canton, Rayner of Caldwell RFD, Clarence of Nashport RFD, Earl of Caldwell; three brothers, Alex of San Antonio, Texas, Leonard of Canton and Chris of Caldwell RFD; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Singer of Fulda and Mrs. Rose Warner of Zanesville. Four brothers are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 from St. Michael's Catholic church at Berne. Rev. Stanley Zekas will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body was taken to the residence Sunday from the Brubach funeral home in Summerfield.

He was buried on January 30, 1951 in St. Michael Cemetery, Berne, Noble Co., Ohio. the information on the death certificate was provided by Harold Schell.
