Funeral services for Pfc Boyd A. Akers, 29, son of W. J. and the late Ada Akers of Draper, who was killed in action in Italy May 12, 1944, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. from Draper Methodist Church with the Rev. W. D. Larrowe officiating. Military honors will be in charge, of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1184, Pulaski.

He is also survived by five brothers and three sisters.

The body will arrive in Pulaski Friday morning and will remain at Thomas M. Seagle A Sons Funeral Home until an hour before services when it will lie in state in Draper Methodist church Burial will follow in Draper cemetery
