Robert Allan was the son of William and Jessie Handley and the brother of William, Beryl, Edith and John.
He was born in Glen Innes, New South Wales on 9th May 1925.
He married Ivy Elizabeth Russell and had four children, Lynette, Stephen, Jennifer and Brian.
He died of lung cancer in Sydney on February 15th 1982 and was cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Sydney.
