William Harper was the son of William and Jessie Handley of Glen Innes, New South Wales, and the brother of Robert, Beryl, Edith and John.
He was born in Glen Innes, New South Wales, Australia on May 25th 1921.
He married Ena Collie Snaden and had moved to Sydney by the time of the birth of his three children, Allan, Bruce, 1954, William and Craige.
He died of a heart attack in North Ryde, Sydney, Australia on 4th February 1972 and was cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium Sydney Australia.
