Louis S., 80, beloved son of the late Louis Albert and Gladys Greenwood Wetherill, beloved husband of Patricia (Goodlander) Wetherill for 52 years and treasured father of Susan Jane Poulos and Rex Albert Wetherill and beloved father-in-law of Thomas Allen Poulos and Anne Sawyer Wetherill and beloved grandfather of Andrew Louis Wetherill, John Alexander Putnam, Meredith Bransford Wetherill, Daniel Duncan Wetherill and Matthew Dennis Wetherill. Passed away on Saturday May 29, 2004 from complications following heart surgery with his family at his side. Born in Prestonville, Kentucky on July 11, 1923. He attended the University of Kentucky and was a member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and then served in the Navy during WWII until 1946. His love of flying led him to attain his private pilot license. Louis was a partner with Peter Jones in Hydrotech Inc., an industrial distribution company, for the past 36 years. A member of Kenwood Country Club since 1978. Louis loved singing and dancing. He was also an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan. he enjoyed life to the fullest. Visitation Tuesday, June 1st from 4-8 P.M. at the Jon Deitloff Funeral Centre 4389 Spring Grove Ave. (45223). Funeral service 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at the Funeral Centre.
