Services for Pfc. Francis J. Blakeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Blakeman, of 927 Caleb av., who was killed in action in Italy in 1944, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Edward F. Gaynor funeral home, 119 South av., and at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Agnes' Cemetery, where Frank Buchanan Post, of Mattydale, will conduct military services. Pfc. Blakeman received his training at Camp McCain, Miss., Fort Jackson, N.C., and Fort Meade, Md. He served with the 91st division of the Infantry. He was a graduate of Eastwood High School. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, James L. Blakeman. The body will arrive in Syracuse tomorrow and friends may call after 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
