He was survived by his parents, Mr and Mrs Edwin Bayles, three brothers, Bill of Hastings, Darrell of Grand Island and Sergeant Herbert Bayles of Okinawa; four sisters Mary Martin and Mrs. Harold Haase of Hastings, Mrs. Robert Frye of Corona, CA and Mrs. W.N. Cosby of Grand Island.
His wife the former Zola Mae Orth whom he married in Los Angeles in 1942, remarried after his death and became Mrs. Joe Drayer of Portland, OR.
