David Homer Weaver was born 9 Jul 1895 (alternate year 1894 or 1896) in South Fork, Cambria County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Charles Larian (Hilarian Charles) Weaver and Emma Jane Moose.
David married Anna Linn in Cambria County about 1916. He was working for the Pennsylvania Railroad at the time of their marriage. David met Anna when she was working at the hotel he stayed at when traveling with the railroad.
In Jun 1917 he registered for the World War I draft. His draft registration states date of birth as 9 Jul 1894. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad. In Apr 1942 he registered for the World War II draft. His draft registration states date of birth as Jul 1896. He was 5'4", weighed 135 lbs., had blue eyes, black hair, and a light complexion. In 1942 he was employed by Koppers Coal Company and worked at Koppers Mine in Sonmon, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
Anna and David had five children: Dorothy "Dot" (Brunnet), Lynn E, Matilda "Tillie"(Popish), James B, and Jo Ann (Olbertz). The family lived in Portage, Pennsylvania, until David's death. After his death, they moved to Nebraska where son Lynn lived. Daughter Dorothy lived in Florida.
David Homer Weaver died in 1950 at the age of 54 years. His wife Anna died in 1998 in Nebraska at the age of 100 years!
