Perry Green Parker
Birth: Apr. 28, 1893
Rutherford County
North Carolina, USA
Death: Dec. 30, 1991
Shelby
Cleveland County
North Carolina, USA

Third of nine children of Allen C Parker & Alice E Cogdell Parker; WWI veteran; husband of Ethel Wray Morrison Parker; father of 12 children; and loving grandfather of 30+ grandchildren.

Larger than life to us grandchildren, he stood 6'4" and weighed around 300lbs in his heyday. He loved to fish, garden and make tools in his little shop. His many adventures, in a life lived on his own terms, made him a legend in his own time. We sure do miss this gentle giant. Rest peacefully Grandpa.

Happy birthday Grandpa, saw a roadside area today filled with purple & blue larkspur, couldn't help but think of you. Sure wish I could give you a great big hug.

"Rosie-blossums" for my Grandpa, I'm really missing you this morning. Hope those fields are full of larkspur & the streams loaded with catfish...
