Mrs. Sophie Jakubowski Power, 51, of 360 Richmond Ave., died yesterday at State University Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Syracuse, she was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of its Mother's Club.
Mrs. Power had worked at R. E. Dietz Co.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Felicia Davila, Patricia and Christine; two sons, Danny and Timothy; three grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Jakubowski; three brothers, Raymond, Steven and Chester; five sisters, Mrs. Frances Wisk, Mrs. Wanda Rhodes, Mrs. Cecilia Brutcher, Mrs. Regina Rubacha and Mrs. Betty Langdon and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Bordynski Funeral Home, 1105 W. Genesee St., and at 8:45 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
