Mary Ondrejik was born in Kemjonka Czechoslovakia to Martha (Matolyak) and Michael Ondrejik. The eldest of 6 children; her sisters and brothers were: Michael, Nicolas, John, Anna (Ondrejik) Cybulsky and Steve. John and Steve did not immigrate to the United States.
Mary immigrated to the United States in 1901 aboard the ship SS Cassel.
She married John Zamesko and they had 3 children; John, Stephen M and Andrew.
After John's death in April of 1907. Mary married Ignatius Sokolovsky on 7-29-1907 in Indiana PA. Ignatius and Mary had 6 children; Anna, Michael, Victor, Helen, Pauline and Joseph.
I never got to meet her since I was born in 1955.
